If you live close to our location and are not too shy to pick up your package yourself, you can do so on Saturdays between 11am and 2pm. This only applies to orders placed as we are not a store. Once your order is placed, you will receive an email with information regarding the pickup time.

Pumpkin seeds raw - shelled

Pumpkin seeds are very tasty and highly nutritious. They contain healthy nutrients and are good for your resistance.

Are pumpkin seeds healthy?

Because pumpkin seeds contain a lot of iron and zinc, they increase your resistance and help you stay focused for a longer time. This is partly because pumpkin seeds give you energy and you will feel fitter as a result. They also contain a lot of protein, which can help maintain or build muscle mass. The seeds contain a lot of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. These fatty acids provide a positive effect on cholesterol and your blood pressure. Pumpkin seeds can be a good addition to a diet. After all, they contain very few calories.

Ingredients

• 1 pack Bunmix of 360 g

• 25 g of butter in small pieces 

• 500 ml of warm water + 40°C
  (200 ml boiling + top up with cold. Be careful not to burn your hands!)

 Equipment

1 bowl or food processor, an oven or an airfryer

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 180°C - hot air 170°C - no need to preheat your airfryer.

Put the flour in a bowl and add half of the water. Mix for a moment and add the rest of the water. Turn on your food processor to knead the mixture until you get a homogeneous mass, this happens automatically. Once the water is absorbed, add the pieces of butter while kneading.

Knead the dough for another 3 minutes or so until the dough looks elastic. 

Divide the dough into 10 equal portions (+ 90 grams), make balls of it with a hole in the centre the size of 2 cm, so that you get a doughnut shape. This shape gives the best baking results.

Put the buns in your oven and bake for 30-40 min depending on your oven (airfryer: bake in cake mode 160°C)

Let the buns cool on a rack before you cut them, that way they will not lose their lightness.
